Halloween Events in our Communities

It’s a time for neighborhoods to come together on a cool night, kids happily running from one house to another, singing a chorus of “Trick or Treat” each time that neighbors’ door opens. It’s a time to transform into your favorite scary, cute or funny character.
Halloween activities going on around Somerset and Hunterdon Counties, both on the 30th and the 31st, are as abundant as yellow leaves in October.

Mischief Night Madness, October 30th

Costume Parade at Bridgewater Commons Mall
  • 1-6pm
  • The mall will be holding a Halloween face-painting and mall-wide trick-or-treating in participating stores.
Brite Nites Halloween Event at The Wagner Farm Arboretum in Warren
  • Evenings of October 20 – 31, 6-9pm
  • Features pumpkin path carved pumpkins, haunted house and talking pumpkin family.
Halloween on Main Street, Downtown Somerville
  • October 30, 2-5pm
  • Trick-or-Treating at participating stores, games, professional costume photos.

Get a little candy, give a little back

Step-out Walk for Diabetes at TD Bank Ballpark
  • Saturday October 30th stating at 5pm.
  • Featuring a haunted trail, pumpkin picking, petting zoo & costume contest. Participants can walk 1-3 miles on a route with a haunted trail.
Spooky American Heart Association Heart Walk at Duke Island Park
  • October 30th
  • Registration at 8:30, official start 10am-12pm
  • Highlights include children’s costume contest, moon bounce, face painting & more.

Halloween Day

Raritan’s Halloween Parade – Raritan Municipal Building
  • October 31 at 6pm
  • Parade followed by doughnuts, cider & costume contest.
Trick-or-Treating at Bridgewater Commons Mall
  • October 31 from noon until whenever the candy runs out. 🙂
