The American Tae Kwon Do Academy (ATKDA) will host the 3rd Annual Chung Do Kwan Nationals tournament. The event will benefit the Somerset Hills YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign.
The event, run entirely by volunteers, is open and free to the public. Donations are gratefully accepted for the Y’s Strong Kids Campaign.

Historical re-enactor, Trish Chambers, returns to Somerville with her newest presentation, First Ladies of the White House!
The program provides an overview of all of the First Ladies from Martha Washington to Michelle Obama. Interesting and informative facts about each woman’s legacies, contributions and effect on the office of First Lady will be discussed.

Bernardsville Library, with co-sponsor The Bookworm, will host its first “Local Self-Published Authors Fair” –a great opportunity for readers and fans to talk shop with authors and for authors to promote their self-published work. Books of many genres will be on display and available
for purchase and signing.

The Organization for Autism Research (OAR) and UNICO-Hillsborough will host a Comedy Night. The event includes a dinner, dessert and three comedians MC’d by GEMINI. A portion of the event’s proceeds will go directly to OAR/UNICO to support new autism research initiatives.

Thursday November 8, 7pm-9pm.
Free, confidential consultation with an attorney from the county staff who can give you initial direction and guidance on any legal issue. The attorney cannot represent you in court, but can help you find a lawyer if necessary or suggest additional resources for assistance with your problem
as appropriate.

Thursday November 15, 7pm.
Middle Earth, a nonprofit serving youth for 40 years, invites the community to BINGO! Proceeds fund youth programs.
Admission is $5 per person, which includes one three-on-board card. Prize payout is guaranteed at $1,300. There will be three 50/50 specials held throughout the night, as well.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the game beginning at 7 p.m.

Immaculata High School

More than 90 crafters and vendors will be featured along with a variety of homemade crafts, jewelry, decorations, gifts, baked goods, 50/50 raffles and theme basket raffles.

Bridgewater-Raritan High School

Sunday November 18, 3pm.
The Raritan Valley Symphonic Band (RVSB) will present its annual winter concert in the School auditorium.
Under the musical direction of Lawrence C. Markiewicz, the band will perform a concert titled, “Seasonal Sounds”. Songs include “A Hanukkah Festival,” “Christmas Festival” and “Sleigh Ride”.
